The series of pages which accompany this were always intended as an alternative to the boring "favourites" that we all use in Explorer. This page of links has however become far more than that - I have an increasingly regular feeling of impotence and ignorance in world events that really matter, not what share prices are doing or who's taking over who, but in life and humanity or rather the lack of it we both see and participate in every single day.

Here you will find what some may consider a strange mix of links, but good causes are inextricably linked to controversy and the majority of the worlds most severe problems are either caused by or exasperated by us and our fellow human beings, often in the false name of good.

There is an urgent need to give what we can to so many causes though fatigue regularly stops us, but there is something we can all do, which costs nothing, and that is to learn, understand and protest at the injustice, greed and dishonesty which surrounds us - we must make a stand as real and sensitive humans to embrace the world again in whatever way we can. Love thy neighbour and forgiveness are fundamental concepts to almost everyone but only a tiny percentage of us are even close to understanding the concept, let alone doing anything about it.

I will try and make this page as balanced as possible, but will never be swayed by any form of fanaticism, be it individual, religious, governmental or corporate.
